At Settlement Post & Beam, we are firm believers that every one of our timber frames is at its heart, a classic American barn. We have seen an incredible resurgence in demand for these iconic structures in recent years. The form has changed very little through the years, yet the function of these spaces has vastly expanded. OUR PROCESS IS EASY.

We strive to keep the process simple. Our predesigned timber frame barn packages simplify the design process by providing a starting point.  We can build the design "as is" or you can choose to customize the plan alongside one of our design partners. Either way, you'll end up with a beautiful timber frame barn to meet the needs of your frontier.

Our price includes:

  • Structural timber frame drawings (engineers seal can be provided)

  • Timber frame installation manual and exploded assembly drawings

  • Your choice of Eastern White Pine, Douglas Fir, White Oak timbers

  • Precision cut mortise and tenon joinery, milled on our state of the art timber processing CNC 

  • Timbers are planed smooth, sanded, and ready for finish

  • Pegs, structural screws, and all other wood to wood connectors

  • Custom steel knife plates for post to concrete connection

  • Trucking to your jobsite

  • Optional installation price- Our crew follows the tractor trailer to your site and erects the frame

Barn Plans
The Beacon is a 26' x 36' main core barn with 10' enclosed lean-to. The Beacon comfortably docks 2 vehicles in the main core with plenty of additional storage space. The lean-to is designed to easily pull in to and out of with tractors, quads and other necessities to keep the farm running smoothly. The second story is an open canvas that can be used in a multitude of ways, including a guest quarters or game room/entertainment space big enough for the whole family.

THE BEACON

The Hudson is a 40' X 76' dutch style events barn featuring soaring cathedral ceilings and an open 2925 sf. ft. main floor. This barn is well suited as a venue or event space with enough seating for 250+ guests. Contact us about customizing this plan to suit your needs.

THE HUDSON

26' x 30' cape w/ two 21' shed dormers & 10' open lean-to - 1560 finished living area, 1 bed - 1 bath. The Mansfield is the perfect 2 bay garage, or alter the floorplan to turn it into a hobby or party barn for your family gatherings.

THE MANSFIELD

28 'x 71' Monitor barn with 14'x50' shed wings. Though The Shelburne was originally built as a high end car barn, this plan is easily altered to serve a host of uses. Including an event space capable of accommodating a 300 person cocktail party.
