What we keep, and why.
The short version: we only have what you choose to send us, we use it to reply, and we never sell it.
What we collect
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, your email address, your phone number if you add it, which description fits you best, and your message. If you email or call us, we have what you send or tell us. That is all we collect about you.
How we use it
To reply to you and to talk with you about your project. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we never sell, rent, or trade your information.
Who else handles it
Messages from the form are received by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and forwarded to our email, which runs on Google Workspace. Those two services hold your message for us. If we go on to work together, your details become part of our records for the project. We don’t share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
What the website does on its own
This site has no advertising and no cookies. We count visits ourselves, so we know which pages people read: for each page opened, we note the page, the website or search that led there, whether it was a phone or a computer, the rough area it came from (a state or country), and taps on our phone number and email address. We don’t keep your internet address. To count how many people visited in a day, we turn your address and browser into a code that changes every day, so no one can be followed from one day to the next.
Our host also keeps standard server records, such as your internet address and the pages you load, to keep the site running and secure. The fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them, which shows Google your internet address.
If you choose Photos or Index on the Our work page, your browser remembers that choice on your device for your next visit. Because nothing here follows you across days or other websites, a browser’s Do Not Track setting changes nothing on this site. Links to Instagram and other websites lead to sites with their own privacy policies.
Your choices
You can ask what we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@settlementpostandbeam.com or call 570-297-0164, and we’ll take care of it.
If this changes
We’ll update this page and the date below.
