The stone house, the timber frame addition and the garage at dusk, the wraparound porch lit, hills behind

PA Historic Stone Home

Built in 1741, this central Pennsylvania stone home now has timber framing throughout the original house, a new great room with king post trusses, and a hemlock porch wrapping more than 100 feet around the exterior. We used planed Eastern white pine inside and rough-cut local hemlock outside, tying the new work to the character of the old stone house.
